Oriental University organized a legal awareness program on the occasion of Constitution Day In Association with District Legal Services Authority, Indore.
Indore (26 November 2021) | Arrangements have been made for the Legal Services Authority to provide accessible justice to socially and economically backward people. So that even the last person of the society is not deprived of getting justice.
This view was expressed by Mr. Manish Srivastava Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, as the chief guest in the program organized on the occasion of Constitution Day at Oriental University Indore. During the program organized at Shakuntaladevi Auditorium under the aegis of Oriental University’s Faculty of Law, Shri Srivastava talked about how the poor and backward sections can take advantage of the Legal Services Authority.
Along with this, he also gave information about various provisions related to legal awareness. The special guest of the program was Prof. Dr. Sunil K Sumani, ViceVice-Chancellor Oriental University Indore. Mrs. Sonia Thakral, Director, Faculty of Law, presided. During the program, the Dean of the Department, Prof. Dr. Priya Sepaha also gave information about the Constitution of India. A large number of students and teachers were present during the programme. It is noteworthy that on the program of Constitution Day, Oriental Vishwavidyalaya organizes a ‘Legal Awareness Program’.
