Srijan 2020 – A technical festival organized every year by Sister Nivedita Takniki Shiksha Samiti and MP Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal with a view to exchange ideas and escalates the innovations in the field of Pharmacy, where Oriental University, Indore coordinated as a host institute in Pharmacy Innovative Models on 5th March 2020.
The program started with floral welcome of Chief Guest and Judge Mr. S B Gupta, Freelance Consultant of Pharma Industry by Honorable Vice chancellor Dr. Dhruv Ghai followed by floral welcome of Mr. Mahanand Thakur, Plant Head McW Healthcare Pvt. Ltd and Dr. Y. A. Jaliwala, Secretary IPA MP State Branch by Dr. Manish Pandey, Registrar and Dr. Neetesh Kumar Jain respectively.
Dr. Neetesh Kumar Jain, Principal, UIP, Oriental University and Convener of Srijan-2020 gave welcome and introductory speech and introduced the gathering about Srijan and its significance. Following this, was speech given by honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Dhruv Ghai who motivated the participants with by his words.
The event commemorated with the session taken by Dr. Y. A. Jaliwala on Indian Pharmaceutical Association and its existence followed by the session of Mr. S. B. Gupta on Indian Pharmaceutical Industries.
The felicitation of the guest Mr. S B Gupta was done by Vice chancellor Dr. Dhruv Ghai and Dr. Manish Pandey, Registrar, Oriental University Indore while memento was presented to Mr. Mahanand Thakur by Dr. Mahavir Chhajed and Dr. Y. A. Jaliwala by Dr. Neetesh Kumar Jain as a token of respect and appreciation.
With respect to registration in Pharmacy Innovative Models, 38 registrations were received from various institutes of Indore region and around 200 students attended the program. After evaluation by all the three judges, eight models were selected that will represent Indore zone in Bhopal at state level. The winners got appreciation in the form of certificates by our esteemed judges and other dignitaries.
The overview of Srijan-2020 was given by Mr. Mahanand Thakur, McW Healthcare Pvt. Ltd who explained the importance of creativity and imagination in field of science and technology.
Dr. R. K. Jain, Dean Research Oriental University honoured the event with his presence and showered his blessings to all the budding Pharmacists who participated with full zeal and zest in the event.
The entire event was full of innovations done in the field of science and technology and especially the pharmacy. This kind of event not only proclaimed knowledge to student participating it, but surely benefitted the faculties as well as students attending the same.
At last the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Mahavir Chhajed, Principal, OCPR, Oriental University and Convener of Srijan-2020.
