Faculty of Pharmacy (FOP) is running two Pharmacy Colleges i.e., Oriental College of Pharmacy & Research (OCPR) and University Institute of Pharmacy (UIP) and offering D. Pharm, B. Pharm, M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Quality Assurance), and Ph.D. OCPR & UIP are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The departments are having highly skilled and research oriented faculties to transmit quality education to budding pharmacists. Coming to the facilities, the department is furnished with advanced infrastructure and upgraded facilitates to make teaching and learning easier through modern tools and techniques. The well defined classrooms and library with all essential amenities make it more users friendly. Separate laboratories have been provided for each of the different streams such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Microbiology, Biotechnology, CIR, HAP, so as to confer special emphasis on practical aspect of pharmacy. Individual space has been allocated to all the faculties for their academic pursuits. Keeping the overall grooming of students in mind, department organizes extracurricular activities, seminars and guest lectures on regular intervals. With all this, the main purpose is to impart knowledge by upholding the positive and healthier environment.
