National Workshop on ‘Virtual Pharmacology Experimentation Software Practice’ Conducted

Faculty of Pharmacy, Oriental University, Indore has successfully organized a National Workshop on ‘Virtual Pharmacology Experimentation Software Practice’ in collaboration with Bureau for Health & Education Status Upliftment, New Delhi, India. This fruitful workshop was organized on 5th May 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The spokesperson for the event was Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Ahuja. He is working as Director, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, JVW University, India & Principal Mentor, Ex Pharm Series, BHESU. The chairperson for the session was Prof. (Dr.) Garima Ghai, Dean Academics and Convener was Prof. (Dr.)Neetesh K Jain.

The workshop was blessed by the presence of Commander Dr. Anil Rana, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Oriental University, Indore, Dr. Dhruva Ghai, Honorable Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Oriental University, Indore and Dr. Rajendra Kumar Jain Dean Research Studies, Oriental University, Indore.

The session has started with the introduction of workshop from Prof. (Dr.) Neetesh K Jain, Welcome Speech from Dr. Rajendra Kumar Jain, Dean Research Studies, Oriental University, Indore and blessings from Commander Dr. Anil Rana, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Oriental University, Indore. The session was a fully fledged package of information for students and faculties mainly focusing on the Virtual Pharmacological Experiments using Pharm Series Software’s.

He continued the session by online demonstration of several experiments of Pharmacology as per syllabus of UG and PG designed and approved by PCI.

The session was resulted as an interactive session for students and faculties to discuss their questions regarding the experiments involved in the software directly with the spokesperson. Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Sumeet Dwivedi, Professor & Principal, UIP and event was hosted by Dr. Niharika Gokhale, Associate Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy, Oriental University, Indore
