NSS Unit (Social Club, OUI) Celebrated “International Women’s Day” at Panchayat Bhavan Rajoda Village on 08-03-2022 ~ Oriental University

NSS Unit (Social Club, OUI) is organizing a one-week residential camp from 06/03/2022 to 12/03/2022 at village Rajoda. During the camp, several activities were carried out. In the series of activities, NSS Unit celebrated ‘‘International Women’s Day’’ on 08/03/2022 at panchayat Bhavan village Rajoda.

NSS Unit of Oriental University keeping this in view that everyone – man and women – can pledge to take a concrete step to help achieve gender parity more quickly- whether to help women and girls achieve their ambitions, call for gender-balanced leadership, respect and value difference, develop more inclusive and flexible cultures or root out workplace bias. Each of us can be a leader within our spheres of influence and commit to taking pragmatic actions to accelerate gender parity. Earlier the program was inaugurated by village sarpanch Mrs. Sapna Amrish Patel. On this occasion International Women’s Day, the Gram Panchayat Sarpanch expressed his views and expressed his gratitude to Oriental University for conducting such kinds of social activities. Earlier Dr. Deepak Kumar (Program Officer, NSS Unit, OUI) welcomed the village sarpanch and all participants. Dr. Supriya Pathak also presented her views on this occasion and also requested all participants to make the Break the Bias symbol to spread gender equality messages throughout society. Mr. Sachin Verma was also present during the event.  On this occasion, the students of the NSS Unit of Oriental University performed various cultural activities (Nukkad Natak, Dance, Speeches, etc.). All NSS Unit volunteers welcomed all female participants by giving the bookies. All the participants enjoyed all the cultural activities and refreshment facilities provided by NSS Unit Oriental University, Indore.

In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Deepak Kumar, NSS Program Officer, Oriental
University, Indore.
