Prof. (Dr.) Amol Gore is the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the Oriental University Indore, serving as Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the University. He holds Doctorate and Post-Doctorate qualifications and vast experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. Before joining Oriental University Indore, he worked as Professor of Industrial Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and has previously held senior academic positions as Chair, Professor, and faculty for many programmes in India, Europe, Americas, and Middle East. His research papers and books are widely acclaimed in the areas of Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering and Management. He is also an active reviewer, board member, keynote speaker at international conferences, and is recognized as an eminent professional dedicated to elevating academic standards and building global collaborations. He has contributed extensively to advancing higher education, fostering innovation, strengthening industry-academia linkages with a vision to transform the University into a hub of excellence and positive social impact.
